Massachusetts Organic Produce and Raw foods

Massachusetts was the state we called home for many years... although they have recently implemented a new "law" that requires all Mass. residents to have health insurance!!Since we have never seen anything offered that resembled "health care" or "health insurance" (disease care, yes... health care?? NO!!) we no longer associate with being residents of that state!!
But having been long term residents there we do have the scoop on the health food stores and best places to get organic produce.

Obviously we are biased as we know of the places where we lived.... and this list is not inclusive, so if something is missing feel free to add to my list!!

On the North Shore we have a coupleWhole Foods Markets.... there is one in Bedford MA (which I personally LOVE) and one in Winchester. There is a Trader Joes in Middleton off 114. On Route 1 in the Saugus area there is a Wild Oats.
The Grocery stores in Mass. still have a ways to go in bulking up their organic sections, but in a pinch one can find organic basics.

Newburyport has a wonderful Natural foods market... The Natural Grocer, they are limited on their organic produce, but still carry more than any of the local grocers. Great place to get a smoothie, raw juice or wheatgrass shots!! They have a really good bulk section and are pretty accomodating when it comes to ordering special items for you!!

For raw food... DEFINATELY the Organic Garden Cafe 294 Cabot St., Beverly, MA!! All I can say is AMAZING!! If you go, you MUST try the brownie with vanilla bean ice cream!!
